Although, Urban Chic Soirées & Destinations was established in 2015 by owner TaNisha Webb, this savvy lady has years of event planning and consultations experience dating back to 2008. TaNisha is also a travel agent and an experienced cross-country traveler as a highly sought after book club expert, speaker and author!
"In 2014, I decided it was finally time for me to move forward into another career path based on my passion for event planning and travelling. Although I have plenty of event planning experience, I really wanted to insure that my plunge into entrepreneurship as a small business owner was a successful one. During this time, I did lots of research in the travel and event planning industries so I could really think about the type of clientele that I could be of service to and also understand all of their needs.
Because of my extensive event planning background, I know exactly how exhausting it can be planning and hosting events, along with handling all of the travel arrangements for guests! Doing it all on your own can be a lot of pressure and work! As I began helping others plan literary events and offering consultations I really understood the importance of hiring an event planner and also how valuable a piece of mind for my clients is with knowing that all of their event details were taken care of to their specifications with an event planner's touch. All of the services that I offer through Urban Chic Soirees & Destinations is exactly what I wish I had in an event planner, while I was playing 'Super Woman'! This is where the concept of becoming an "one-stop shop" event planning and travel agent boutique was born where my clients can hand over their cape and allow me to help them plan the perfect event and/or vacation without all of the worry!
As a Travel Consultant, my job is to understand my client's wants & needs and then to use my travel and event planning expertise skills to create the destination wedding, honeymoon or vacation of their dreams without my client's having the hassle of performing endless research and handling all of the details on their own. As the owner of Urban Chic Travelistas LLC we specialize in hosting group vacations (basically we infuse our great event planning skills with our love for travelling all over the world to host great group vacations), along with coordinating private vacations packages for solo travellers and groups. Our job is to handle all of the details from the time we begin planning your vacation until the time you step foot back inside your front door! Our services allows our clients to focus on having a great time on their vacation while we handle the details and their guests. I'm sure I can handle your destination wedding planning, honeymoon and vacation needs.
After years of experience and research I decided to expand my event planning knowledge by completing formal training and earning my certification as an International Event and Wedding Planning Professional (IEWP) and International Event Decorating Professional (IEDP) through QC Event School, which I will complete in 2016. I am currently a travel agent and have established my travel company called Urban Chic Travelistas LLC . I constantly participate in training opportunities to help expand my event planning and travel knowledge, which is a great benefit to my clients."
